Fairy Tales
Rated: E | Poetry | Other | #1869922
An example of pre-arts award writing. A free verse poem written about fairy tales.
Once upon a time,

That's how they start.

Followed by a disaster, grim.

That's the way of the Grimm's.

Evil stepmothers, witches and wolves,

To add a hint of fright.

With fairy's, dwarfs and princesses,

To keep you smiling through it all.

To end, that smile still on your face,

They lived happily ever after.

Or that's what they tell you.
