Colors
by Steve
Rated: E | Poetry | Other | #1870150
A simple rephrasing of the world as it already is.
What if we were
all different colors?

What if some people
were blue and others green?

Some orange or yellow,
pink or red?

Would we say
that the reds are bad?
Would we say
the blues are good?

If I were yellow and you not,
would you hate me?

Could you trust a green person
as much as you trust an orange?

Would you lock your car door
when a pink was coming,
or a blue,
or a green?

I wonder what would happen
if we were all different colors?
