The Strange Rain
Rated: E | Poetry | Dark | #1870801
It is a comparison between the rain and a girl who has ditched a person...
The Strange Rain

Like messengers of doom the black clouds swirled
Over the canvass of the sky
Below which my whole story was to be painted
Her back was turned to me as she had started to cry

Slowly that perfectly shaped body moved
Moved away far away from my sight
But slowly as if time got entangled in her hairs
My emotions had taken off for a shaky flight

As my manliness started falling with tears
The black clouds of hell started to rain
At least I got the freedom to cry
Without being noticed that I cried in pain

Those devilish beasts of vapor and dirt
So black that even Hades looks white
They helped me and gained my trust
My tears soon replaced by a manly smile of pride

But who knew I will be charged so badly
One after another they burst symmetrically
Flood came and wiped me with itself
She had made my love cold but the rain made my body and soul chilly
