Teddy Bear
Rated: E | Other | Other | #1870926
Dancing bears, painted wings, things I almost remember... (For my friend Haley:P)
"Mommy, can you keep the light on?" Asked a sleepy eyed Sarah. "You have your nightlight sweety." Mom responded softly. "It's not bright enough." Mom came over and sat by Sarah's side. "What are you afraid of?" Sarah looked over at her brother who was sleeping soundly in his bed. "Joseph said monsters are in my closet and are going to come get me." Mom smiled and went to the closet. "There's no monsters in here, see?" She said opening the door. All there was were clothes and toys.

Mom shut the door. "Can you go to sleep now?" She asked. "I'm still scared..." Sarah said. Mom smiled. "I'll be right back." She disappeared into her room and came back with a teddy bear. "Your special teddy bear." Sarah said taking it. "Yes, and it will protect you during the night from any monsters." Mom said tucking Sarah in. "Goodnight, Sarah." Mom said and shut the door. Sarah cuddled the teddy bear and fell asleep.

Opening it's eyes the teddy bear got up carefully and got his armor and shield, It went to the closet slowly and opened the door. A huge black monster with red eyes and sharp claws came out. The teddy bear attacked. The teddy bear faught and faught, blocking attacks from the beast and stabbing it with it's sword. Finally the beast fell to the ground and burst into tiny black squares. (Yes, the Twilight Princess's way:P) The teddy bear discarded the armor and got back into the bed with Sarah.

The next night Mom was tucking sarah into bed. "Would you like the teddy bear?" She asked. "No thanks, Mom, I feel safe without it now." Sarah smiled and closed her eyes.
