Dear Reader, I cannot explain how this tale came into being and yet it was in my writing folder and my handwriting. Nevertheless, here it is.
Jane Onyx stepped out of a cool shower on this hot, muggy July day. She shook her head back and forth several times; her shoulder length ash brown hair fell wildly about her head. Remaining dripping wet. She decided not to dry it, because it felt deliciously cool. However she did run a de-tangle comb through it with several stokes. Gently she patted herself with a large thirsty pink terry cloth towel.
Standing before a full-length mirror, she examined her 5 foot 8 inch body, turning from side to side. "Not bad for a 35 year old lawyer" she thought. "A little firmer here and there; need to lose ten pounds, I should start …" the doorbell interrupted her thoughts.
She wrapped the towel around her, slipped into soft terry pink slippers and went to the front door. She opened it, remembering to keep the security chain bolted. As she peeked out, she saw a tall, muscular man with blond curly hair, his back to the door, looking out towards the street. He turned, and she saw his smiling, handsome face and his deep blue eyes. She recognized him.
She unbolted the security chain and inquired, "Dick Muskel, why are you here." As he stepped through the opened door, a stream of sunlight hit his body, his bare arm brushed against Jane's skin, her eyes closed and a quiver, a muscular spasm occurred in her loins. His touch aroused in her brain erotic sensations of moist, wet kisses upon her body caressing her femininity. Her mind lost concentration as her breathing became short and shallow. She was lightheaded … felt herself falling forward, lifted up, carried and then gently placed down … where she was she did not know… her body approved and embraced the feeling of warmth and comfort.
She heard Dick's voice. Startled, she opened her eyes.
"Are you feeling okay?” he asked.
“I guess so, just got a little dizzy. Did I faint...? How did I get on my sofa?”
Dick apologizing, “I caught you as you fell and carried you to the sofa. I am sorry coming by early on a Saturday morning without first phoning you. It was thoughtless of me. I’m very sorry, but I forgot to give you this folder yesterday.
Before she could fully sort out her situation, a legal folder was extended to her. She took it and placed the folder on the coffee table.
“I thought you might like to look it over on the weekend. I really do appreciate your willingness to help me with my client."
Still dazed, Jane's mind couldn’t think clearly. She wanted to ask him stay for coffee or for breakfast, but could not get the words out.
Dick turned to leave and said, “Hope you are feeling better… See you Monday. Thanks."
Clearness of thought returned, she softly replied, “Good bye Dick."
“Wow!” she mused, "A junior partner...What is wrong with me? This is embarrassing."
