Timeless
Story in song.

Allow me to give my propers and respect to the following songs.
That I represent.

From one word - to many.
Let's repeat, redefine, open up and revise.
And specifically leave it all to interpretations.

Why do words suddenly appear?

Why do I remember the music I hear?

I tend to dwell too much on the past.
My stories are the kind of things that last.
But first, I must remember that its part of that foundation called Today.

I don't trust the future.

But its all good when we start on a groovy nite like this.

Do you remember?

When everything seemed new.
And I didn't look, but I found you.

Can you remember?

When the gray skies were sunny.
And we didn't have any money.

We had a unity - that cancelled out the sorrow and misery.

We were children of the ghetto.
But we kept our heads
to the sky.

The need here is always for more.

I had no one to love.
I didn't know how to love.

We are in love.

Did you remember?
When...

...and

I hear your touch.
I see vividly our kind of luck.
Another sweet fragrance of a tune.
From your taste of life.

What's it all about?

Are we ment to just exist; to straighten and bend?
Or are we ment to just begin and end?

I can show you a life for you that is better if you can.
Just like children playing Castles In The Sand.
Let's reminisce about the coolness of our summer madness.
We had our reasons, but it was more than I could say.

I have all these trax in wax.
I cherish all those times that I've kept in back.

We didn't even recall feeling guilty about having a good time.

I don't trust myself now, for I have the need.
The need to be reminded.

Because time stood still, its hard to believe its been so long.
It was only simple because I was just a kid.
I don't regret any of those things that I did.

Or will do...

As you do...

Let me profess my love to you.

They say cats have nine lives.
Leopards change thier spots.
And the sky is one constant light.

Despite the heat of this concrete jungle, it'll be alright.

Just run up the stairs and meet me on the rooftop.

We are given but one life.

We've come too far to leave it all behind.

Time may run out; but we'll keep movin' on.

Imagine a time where I can keep my promise.
Think of a way to take your time.

And make it last forever.
