The Poet is an Artist of Words
Rated: E | Short Story | Experience | #1870960
i hope you know that a poet is an artist of words that paints a picture. Hope you like it.
The poet is an artist tha uses words to paint pictures one may be able to see. He or she gets a thought in mind and puts the words together like an arist does with a palet of colors. He or she arranges the words to complete thoughts that makes one laugh or to cry. Usually on the first reading you as a member of the audiance is able to see what the poet is talking about and can follow his writing. Sometimes he or she will use symbolism to make a point about what they are talking about.

My favorite thing to paint or to write about is the water. The ocean, the lakes, the rivers are all a part of the favorite things I like to write. Look at the trawler out on the water. The nets being in the water and the men working hard to bring them in. I like to write about the sun and the flowers. I hope you are able to almost smell the flowers or get a glimpse of seeing them in a field or garden.

Yes, the poet uses words to bring horror or some mystery to a piece. As long as you can see the pictures in your mind and to feel something withn your heart you have just read what was in the artist's mind. If you can't see the pictures that the poet has painted with the words he has used then you have missed something or the poet missed really bad in getting his point across.
