A Poetic Desire
A poets lecherous desire to create. |
A poet sits grasping for words with a longing so strong that the wildly beating heart sends blood pulsing through the body. Visions scramble around in the brain with a need for escape. The mind gropes for meaningful phrases amid mindless meanderings while thoughts tumble and roll about. Alone the writer searches for that seamless compilation that will fulfill the soul's desires. The yearning to create is so strong that the flesh sings with a tingling thrill when words flow as if they were life’s blood spilling from a grievous wound. The lecherous need to create is subdued as the words find their place upon the page. 18 lines - using "Sins of the Poet - CLOSED" and "Invalid Item" |
