Where's the Joy
Rated: E | Poetry | Biographical | #1871405
This shows how difficult it it is bringing up a child with a disability. It's a challenge.
I wrote this poem, because I was very frustrated with my daughter. She is hearing impaired,or what they call profoundly deaf.
Children are a blessing, and a gift from God.There are times when you wonder about that.
Especially when you have problems with them. It's hard to figure out whether the problem is an illness,or just a behavior problem that needs to be dealt with.Maybe given a chance, with a lot of tough love we can work things out.
Don't count on your own strength that can be futile.Look above for strength and wisdom.and it will come through his love.Knowing that nothing.or anybody are perfect except for the heavenly Father above. With His loving kindness, and mercy.Where's the joy that is supposed to be there too?
