Life has its ups and downs;
you know both thorns and crowns.
King of the hill one day,
next it seems devil to pay

True life’s fare pay we must
remit ere our return to dust.
Roads are rough in living travel
before frayed body threads unravel.

Take heart dear friend in this
simple fact often missed
Love is given as Creator’s gift;
accepted humbly is spirits lift.

Life is love and love is life;
Mother, father, sweetheart, wife.
Love once found cannot be lost,
count it treasure, forget the cost!
