I Have Seen

I have seen this world and felt its' lies
Seen it rip apart countless lives
The weak and the weary takin' their own
By their own hand committin' suicide
I've seen families broken
Over financial nonsense
Marriages torn
Over moments of selfishness
Now broken hearts are broken
And cuttin' like glass shards
I've seen children
Yes!,
The very innocent
Abused, neglected and broken
By the ones they placed their trust in
O'! I have seen this world
And I have felt its' lies
I've seen sickness and disease
Strip away diginity
In young lives
And steal away
Old minds
I've seen hopelessness
In the eyes of an addict
As they are given
Over to their addiction
Yet AGAIN!
And yet again
Prayin' and wishin'
For death,
Because they feel
its' all they have left
I have seen these streets
Take a life
Faster than any gun could
Young lives!
Ended before they should!
O' I have seen this world
And I have certainly
Felt its' lies...

Yet hope remains
Yes! Hope remains!
Because I have seen
Something more than this world
I have felt
Something more than its' lies!!!

I have seen
The Hand of The Living God!!!
I've seen! I've seen

I said!

Outstretched!
Mighty and Strong!
I've seen The Hand
Of The Living God
Give strength!
To the weak and the weary
As meaningless existence
Is taken
And new life, is given
I've seen families re-united
Torn marriages re-membered
Because with My GOD!
Ain't no such thing
As irreconcilable differences!!!
I have seen
The Hand
Of The Living God
In the lives of once neglected children
As HE takes em'
And fills em'
And they are given
HIM
A Father,
Who will never!
Hurt em'
But forever eternally
Do nothing but,
Love em'!

Outstretched!
Mighty and Strong!
Healing those
Sick in body and mind
Who the doctors
Gave up on
And said,
"There is little hope and no time",
I am telling you!
I have seen limbs!
Grow!
Before my very eyes!
I have seen HOPE
In the eyes of
Once upon a time
Addicts!
As addictions are broken
And new birth is given
I have seen these so called
Pimps, playas and hustlas
Thugs and gangstas
ALL!!!
Bowing their head!
And ALL!!!
Bending their knee!
To The Lord above all Lords!!!
And
The King above all Kings!!!
