we just celebrated independence day
here in the good ole U.S of A we sat outside watched the sky blaze with color got eaten by mosquitos celebrate your total freedom remember, that's what today's really all about as you celebrate think of those countries who fight even now, for the freedom we take for granted, as we eat our hot dogs and watch the sky pt2 i've got a friend in Northern Ireland they're still fighting. he tells me,'last week some 19 year old catholic boy was shot, and next week, we expect some trouble.' as I lay here trying to sleep thinking of freedom I pray that the fighting ends for all the kids who shouldn't have to live like that for my friend, whose safety I worry over as I lay here, trying to sleep, I wonder, does he know about Independence Day?
