Rubber Maids
Rated: E | Poetry | Tribute | #1872576
Kudos to maids.

Rubber Maids in yellow-blue,
  clean all day for me and you;
with a sponge and with a broom,
  Spic and Span around the room.

Due to dirty dens of dust,
  Rubber Maids remain a must;
once upon a messy scene,
  they team up with Mister Clean.

In the wake of hotel suites,
  maids give Bounce to wrinkled sheets;
and if dreams should bring you luck,
  that’s because they give a tuck.

They stretch out a sweeping hand
  both to bath and to nightstand;
tidiness remains the proof,
  from Ramada to Red Roof.

Curtains, floors, stained coffee cup
  always need some sprucing up;
but beyond those dusty shades,
  there you will find Rubber Maids.
