Words fall like summer rain

Paper fields black begin to grow
As textual rhythm starts to flow
What sprouts there have a look
Magazine story, poem or book

Drip drop splish splash plip plop
Words come without a stop
Arrive with bursting cloud or steady drizzle
Words inspired, words that fizzle

Between the lines we read with care
To see the true meaning there
Words that laugh, words that cry
Words of truth, words which lie

Words needed our thoughts to rule
Words sure writers’ basic tool
Words which filter drain of brain
Train of thought, words do reign!
