The Anticpated Transformation
Rated: E | Other | Other | #1872893
A poem describing the reuniting of souls in the after life.
It wasn't always easy for me to live and wait
To meet old familiar souls here at heaven's gate
First I see the soul of one whose life I shared
Next I see someone whose soul I prayed was spared
And finally, the little ones are safe against my chest
So don't be sad for me as my body lies at rest
My vessel has been cleansed like a flower after rain
My spirit given willingly for God to make his claim
Suffering and pain are mine to bear no more
As I leave this life behind and open heaven's door
