Crown of Stars
A poem written for the prophecy writing contest. |
| When the world goes dark and chaos reigns, A Remnant will become Guardians of Light. When hope grows dim, there will be a guide Who reads the stars with innocent sight. A King must be found to ease the world's pains. So travelers will follow a crown shining bright. While on their quest, the Seeker finds the Bride. A promise is broken through heartache and spite. Creatures of Darkness will come to one who feigns And the True of Heart will trust Seeker's Sight. Deceiver plots their fall, his time he will bide, Til Seeker is alone and too broken to fight. Captive Seeker is taken as Despair's power gains. Reunion may free him from never-ending night, But all will be lost if Thief should hide. Then only Bride's sacrifice can salvage the light. In the land of crystal under skies of unending rains, The King will rise, leading an army of great might. Deceiver and Despair will face the Eternal Tide. By his sword, the King will set all things right. |
