You Were There

Jesus Christ I came to you
In my dire time and need.
My life was near in shambles
As my heart was there to bleed.

Not feeling well and depressed
I prayed to you for help.
For guidance and protection
From the demons inside myself.

In a hurry you were there
In ways I never knew.
You helped me in my sadness
and my inner deeply blues.

I praise you God the father
For all the things you do.
You make my life worth living
I am grateful for you too.

My life may have its problems
but with you I’ll make it through.
You are my Lord my Savior
and I deeply do love you.
