A weird poem about my writings and what I need those who read them to get from them.

Take these words
Barren of truth
Such absolutes
Convincing I seem
Brilliant I may be
Tortured indeed
Fall into my lies
Make them yours
Hold them close
Near your heart
Around your throat
Suffocate on their weight
Feel each one
Know them well
You alone have the power
To make them true
Within each fold
Each bend
Each break
Each well-crafted mistake
Is all that I am
The summation of everything
That has been done to me
As well as by me
Away from God’s grace
In a wilderness of hate
I find myself
Standing quite still
Too curious to move
Too stuck in place
Mired by my fate
Desolation reigns
Darkness conveys
Such a reality I shape
Into convincing lies
Harder I wish to make it seem
Impossible I dare scream
Mediocrity holds no burden
Humans turned creatures
Has made us all quite numb
To the reality of our predicament
I must be more
Far more terrifying indeed
I must make your heart bleed
And your mind scream
You must beg for mercy
From the meaning of my words
Fall into my lies
Believe each one as fact
From my mind
Through my fingertips
They flow
Long after I am known
Long after I am exposed
They will remain
And so will you
You will not forget
How could you ever…
