                                          DREAM WRITER
                                          BY :  LISA ANN NOE

I always wanted to be a writer, but I didn’t know what to right about.  I’ve never really had too much to say. Getting me to read a book was like pulling a tooth when I was a young girl.  It was painful for me and a gruesome job for my parents.  I took to writing down my thoughts, be there ever so few.  I liked poetry but until recently, I didn’t realize just how many forms of poetry there is.  I use to right poems thinking they had to rhyme every time. >..<  But now that I think about it the most famous poets don’t rhyme.  Shakespeare and Poe, to name a couple.  Their poetry, does however, sound poetic.  I may not be much of a writer but if dreams could float my boat I’d sail the 7 seas.  My education leaves nothing to the imagination, meaning I had a poor school district in the mountainous terraine.  I graduated high school but it was a pitiful school I attended.  I had Journalism I & II & photo Journalism my senior year of high school along with Business English  and being a teacher’s aid, grading freshman’s papers.  I did, however win some very prestigious awards from The University Of Kentucky, “The Enoch Graham Memorial Certificate” for outstanding Service in Scholastic Journalism, Good Citizenship, High Scholarship and Intelligent Leadership.
In addition I won Outstanding Senior Journalism Award from Eastern Kentucky State University.  I was always on the yearbook staff and news paper staff.  I was Layout editor of the yearbook and Editor of the newspaper.  I miss those days, I have such fond memories of that time in my life.  If I only I knew what was awaiting me in my future, I would have stayed a child.  Well I think we try to hurry up and grow up, then when we have grown up we wish we hadn’t.  I only went to college for three semesters at a Jr. college.  I thought I wanted to be a nurse but it wasn’t to be, I got in an auto accident and messed my self up pretty bad. So I had to leave college and I am still having a hard time with all the broken bones, which have turned into artheritis.
I am getting a pretty expensive and very good education right here on writing.com.  I now love to read and I’m trying to familiarize myself with all the different types of poetry.  I have high hopes that I will one day be a notable writer, a dream writer, if you will.  I love to give reviews.  They are getting better, longer and more detailed.  Maybe a year from now I will have something important to say and I can write it down in a book, and just maybe you can review me and give me *****.{5 stars}
