Egyptian Dream
Descriptive dream of being Egyptian |
| Egyptian Dream The air was dank and earthly consumed, Sealed inside this ancient tomb, Erected pillars in column stand, Cartouches proclaiming pharaoh's land. Desert sand between my toes, In sandals jeweled in beaded rows, Sheer white gown in tunic form, A golden sash my waist adorns. Hair of black enthrones a crown, Sun darkened skin of henna brown, Kohl rimmed eyes view muraled walls, Etched in hieroglyphic text for all. Canopic jars hold treasured parts, Sacred Gods incant upon depart, Anubus guards their journeys quest, To pass life's gates to eternal rest. |
