Far From Comfortable
Rated: E | Poetry | Adult | #1876477
An abstract and certainly weirder than most poems about reflections and reality.

Who are you
Reflection I see
Who are you
Person I seem
Why have you come
When will you go
Will anyone know
Are you and I
So very much alone
Living as one conflicted soul
Or are we as many
Creatures a plenty
Looking for a feast
Something sacred to eat
A delicious dish
Of proverbial shit
Maybe we can find
A weaker being of need
One that we can steal
Kidnap and place away
Into the cold ground
For no one to ever forsake
Maybe then we can take their place
Their undeniable shape
Are we, you and I
Far from comfortable
Such an idea we bleed
Who are you
Reflection I see
Who are you
Person I seem

Me…
