Bound
Rated: E | Poetry | Emotional | #1876600
It was inspired during my father's hospitalization due to stroke.
When eyes opened,

The clouds so soft,

The light so warm,

The breeze windy.

When hands moved,

The tips were playful,

The palms were ticklish,

Sensitive to the grass.

When feet stepped,

The soles pressured,

The toes tingling,

The land felt hard yet soft.

When the mind awoken,

It all crashed down,

Numbness came and conquers,

Reminded of being bound.
