Cleopatra's Fall
Rated: 13+ | Poetry | History | #1877049
How Cleopatra felt upon capture of Romans after Marc Anthony's death
Blood courses through my brain,
My Kingdom falls
Yet I remain
Within these walls,
Or shall I go
To be held captive
Amongst my foes,
To grieve in sorrow live?
Hail my servants,
Entrusted I make known
The course of events
To befall me by Rome.
Without my beloved's heart
Or Egypt's throne,
This world I depart.
Poison asp take me home.
