Searching for peace of mind - imperfect mono-rhyme poem
Troubles and worries, when will this cease?
Pondering, wondering, I beg for release.

Can't somebody help put my mind at ease?
It's been so long since I was in one piece...

Why can't anyone help me decrease
All those sorrows that make my heart freeze?

Tossing and turning, what is this disease
That's gripping my heart, ready to squeeze
Out all my energy? I'm on my knees.

I cannot take it, must stop its increase!
Have to cut through, let the torment decease.

Clouds dissolve as I reach out and seize
That small silver lining, light as a breeze.

While worries vanish, I feel joy increase;
There's finally hope that I'll find my peace.
