Fake

Rated: E | Poetry | Other | #1878191
A poem about the darkness inside of us...
Smiles are a disguise we all wear,
Fake or real, it doesn't matter,
For there is always a darkness inside.
Slowly growing into a instinct we fear,
Happiness does not come to the soul,
A shallowness remains within us for eternity.
Never fading, never growing into anything more,
Instinct becomes a friend and thoughts fade
