You, me, us three
Together as one
We must become
Our gifts turned curse
Our ideals made tragic.

Upon a cliff we stand
We must willingly jump down
The one of us that can fly
Must save the others
That can do nothing but fall.

Upon the wind we must ride
Across all distance and time
To another place
To other viable shapes
Altering our identifiable states.

In our new place
Unknown we will face
But the one of us three
That can travel back in time
Must go, if for a moment we forget.

He must go back to remind us
Of all that we are about to escape
Of all that we know cannot change
Regardless of space and time
Regardless of distance defined.

Us three must become one
Through change and through the same
We must embrace the freak show
That we have become in order to
Create a new chance at living.

The one of us three that can fly
And the one of us three
That can travel backwards in time
Are nothing without the one of us three
That can do what no one else could ever dream.

His gift, a unified curse of immense weight
Upon his chest sits the truth of our fates
Because he, unlike us, regardless of life or death
Can alter the very foundation of everything
That we are about to do in the name of change.
