Sometimes I just like to write crazy things that take me on an unforgettable journey.

Hey you there
With your careless stare
How could you ever dare
Looking at you I see nothing
Looking at me you see even less
I’ve done nothing wrong
With regard to you
I’ve done nothing right
With regard to everything else
Upon a liar’s chest
I make my final stand
Crushing down all that is
So that something else
Can come along and take its place
You watch on in horror
Unwilling to understand
What it is you are seeing
For you, normalcy abated
Is your true and defining god
For me it is absolute hell on earth
I am always pondering greater things
Not because I am unique or special
But because I am vastly different
I refuse to fit into any mold
I refuse to stand with lemmings
On my own terms I comprehend
Does that make me any better
Nope, certainly it does not
It only makes me astutely aware
When others, most of all you
Are completely blind to what’s going on
I know that going with the flow
It easy for you, just as it is for all others
Resistance can appear to be a futile endeavor
A pointless trip down a road less travelled
Many obstacles lay in wait
Many dangers devoid of clarity can be found
But for me, pondering greater things
Is the saving grace of our species
The master’s plan turned on its head
Revealing something that he did not intend
But something that he has come to embrace
He understands my questionable nature
One truth that I can easily relate
Is that I know vastly more than most
I am not talking about intelligence
I am only talking my life experiences
Arising from my ability and need
To look beyond the obvious nature
Of the many things that stand in our way
And the test we both willingly and unknowingly face…
