My Place of Peace

They say this is my serenity
So tranquil and at peace
Empty chairs are welcoming me
To enjoy and to release

My problems seem to drift away
Amongst the ocean blue
All that’s left inside me
Are thoughts positive and true

The day is just so beautiful
In person all around
Sitting in the beach chair
I can hear the ocean’s sounds

The sand is white like crystals
Feeling great between my toes
Where this trip will take me
Right now I do not know

A place to open up myself
To see my hopes and dreams
Allow myself to meditate
Be relaxed to what it means

Feed myself the gifts in life
and all that will become
Be thankful for another day
and the life that's just begun.
