How now brown cow
Rated: ASR | Poetry | Comedy | #1879778
Asking a cow a question of all times. Writer's Prompt for 7/15/12
How now brown cow?
The old man wiped his brow.
The cow said not a word,
chewing her cud like a curd.
She cared not his question was true --
a cry for answers that drip of rue.
It mattered not to her the man gone batty,
because he stepped in a cow patty.
