A discussion of the definition of peace in ABAB rhyme. |
| “When peace, like a river, Attendeth my way....” But calling peace a river Is a silly thing to say. Peace is still and unwavering, A shelter from life's storms. A river is always wandering. Its current bucks and swarms. My Peace is a mighty rock, A core of strength and hope. I hold to this through any shock, And know that I can cope. But Peace is more than stone. It is the condition of my soul. It tells me I am not alone. It glows like a warm coal. There is comfort and trust When Peace guides my way. So while others must adjust, I will move forward today. |
