The City
enjoy this poem about reflections in a city |
| I look out the window and see the view of the gleaming city and the bay too. As night draws near while day goes away, I see the buildings brighten in an electrical way. Black covers all of the typical blue I watch in amazement; yes, it is true. That the stars are hidden while in the bright city. The light is like day. "Oh, what a pity." I wonder about before when trees covered all, and the only noise heard was a nightingale's call. But whatever I feel, I know it's gone, probably forever, and the city lives on. |
