An acrostic poem for The Lighthouse Poetry Contest |
T here’s peace to the weary O nly God can give R eaching down from Heaven’s glory E ntwining His Spirit with man’s S haking loose the devil’s hold T aking anguish from a troubled soul I wish all could find that tranquility N otched within God’s love G arish ways of sinners, though O ften brings a heart to brokenness D istraught, with tears a-flow S weet peace works hard to find a hold B ought with the price of His dear Son O fferings from God to all mankind S acred hope for those that’s weary O nly when the wicked repents M an is brought to rest, in God’s bosom |
