My First Meet of Two
Rated: E | Poetry | Family | #1881692
Some fleeting moments I remember fifeteen years ago with first child
I held a child unspoiled by the rigours

Of this world, so precious and new

Strong yet fragile, our first meet

I knew not what to do.

We laid together, she and I

And couldn’t keep my eyes away

A million born but this miracle to me

And everything else had gone away

Moments forever imprinted on

The ether of forever

And as they may grow farther away

Those times will never wither
