Two weeks without my smile
when he was gone i lost his beautiful smile and also mine... |
| Two weeks he was gone Doing something somewhere in the world I would like to imagine he was alone doing nothing special That would make him think of anything but me, Cause I was hurting miserably. I was looking for my smile In other peoples symphonies of laughter In constellations of stars But realized he took it with him to the wilds The day he showed up with my smile Glowing in his palm, he must have stolen it the last time he had touched my cheek As if his beautiful smile is not enough for him. (you greedy bastard) Holding my hand he gave it back, It wasn’t hard, he didn’t bargain much We just stood there smiling, forgetting about the past. Suddenly his smile said “you’re the best girl in the world” And my smile asked him why “Just because” He is not much of a talker or he talks way too much. Should I tell him how I felt when he was on his quest? How every time I asked if he is back the no’s were flying Like arrows to my heart. So I just said “can you promise me something?” “Whatttttttt?” “The next time you decide to disappear please let me know in advance” “Why?” “I want to be prepared” “How?” “By not letting you go” |
