Freak Of Nature
Rated: 13+ | Poetry | Young Adult | #1882276
Heartfelt poetry, about learning to be yourself regardless of outside opinions.
I am a freak of nature
This was not by choice
I used to beg for your opinion
Now I renounce your voice
I used to want to be accepted
And now I just dont care
All of you who liked me
Were never really there
Figments of my imagination
Vanishing into my own despair
I read you, and I become confused
I have nothing to give
So what could I have to lose?
Im slowly sinking farther
Because Im being pulled farther in
I'll always be inadaquate
But at least I can pretend
And while you purposely try to mess up my life
I'll remember all I've done for you
And stick to the path I know is right..
