A short poem about Owens Valley, California. Written in "sedoka" form 5-7-7-5-7-7.
Swansea

Moonlit gallery.
Hunter-shamans brushed these stones,
though time has bleached their meaning.
Cities drank the lake,
the pumas mine the mountain;
eyes like sparks in looted wounds.
