Where's My Review?
We work so hard to write for you,
please read and rate, and then review... |
What's the point in writing some prose, a story, a poem or any of those. To enter a contest where there's no review, when we don't get your feedback, your point of view. We write and cross out, we edit, redo, spend hours on following the prompt for you. But no, you declare “we don't have the time, to review your story or check your rhyme”. So when you wonder why the entries are few, Perhaps it’s because you don't want to review. Think on this, and I'm sure you'll agree, So please, dear reader, hear my plea. After all, I'm sure this is why we all write, to chill our readers, or perhaps delight. How do we know if our words meet a need, if you won't comment or review what you read? So readers and judges to all of you there, whatever it is, we want you to care. I'm hoping these words are food for thought, for the next time I visit your contest or port. I always say thank you to each read and review, and then I follow up by doing one for you. |
