Possession
Rated: E | Poetry | Supernatural | #1883734
Wrote this for my hero, Nick Groff who's a ghost hunter and how I feel when he's possessed
I can’t explain why,
But when I see you under possession
I suddenly feel the overwhelming urge to cry.

Do I recognize how you feel
Since I nearly went under possession myself
Or it is the power of suggestion taking over
So I can relate to my character in my stories?

I never felt this way before my encounter,
And the story I wrote of your fictional possession
didn’t affect me on that night of my experience.

Whichever reason I cry for you,
I still feel it and want to talk with you
about my experiences.

Within your battle against demonic forces,
I hope to be a beam of light
And give my compassion as hope.

As my urge passes, the after-effects linger
But I will follow you and provide faith
And keep the demons at bay.
