Niki Cherryseed's Mistake

Wonderful Niki Cherryseed,
Was quite a bright girl indeed.
Everything was up to date,
And perfect Niki's grades were great.
She lived in her own Utopian life,
She ignored all anger, all bitter, and strife.
But then one day, things didn't work out,
And Niki Cherryseed did nothing but pout.
What a mess; how could she go on?
Her life, she moaned, it was all gone!
Wailing and sobbing, she fell to the ground,
And she lay there woefully without a sound.
Niki Cherryseed was not so bright after all,
She did not pick herself up after her fall.
Blind and flailing, she did not care,
That there was, in fact, a real world there.
