FIRST PLACE A reverse etheree for the Poem a Day contest |
| Storm Lightning Crashes loud Grey clouds heavy With unleashed fury Wind blows and rain torrents Down, swirls in muddy puddles Trees lose their leaves who dance intent And flow along streams of airborne waves Before drifting down to the ground complete. The tempest eases, and slows stills its wrath It soaks the ground, and nurtures the earth Small buds uncurl, unfurl refreshed Grass sparkles like diamonds And flowers show faces All colors and hues Rainbow is curved Our world now Fresh and Pure |
