My first attempt at a double Etheree poem.
Run
and pass
beyond the
fastest sprinter,
now left far behind.
Race and teach the air the
meaning of "swift as the wind"
outstrip the blustering breezes
catch up to a kite that has escaped
its string and follow it to the ends of

the earth, until you reach the place where the
wind begins its journey. Now carry
that knowledge heavy inside you,
source of the forever breeze,
and the breath of life. Stand
and gaze at the end
of worlds, start of
the never
and the
now.


Note: this is a double Etheree poem, with a syllabic structure of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
