Bleached Denim
Rated: E | Poetry | Young Adult | #1884205
She was the sweetest thing.
Pretty words

And creaking leather

Fire-smoke

On bleached denim

The lingering scent of sandwood

Cements a love I know is good

Lose myself

In your essence

Swamped by the folds

Of your jacket

The warmth of breathing in your spice

Cements a love I know is nice

Console me -

The detatched embrace

The next best thing

The ghost of your touch

And in that touch I put my faith

To cement a love I hope is safe.
