|I lay gently on the ground staring into the sky of clouds on a cold afternoon’s day.
My heart hurting from a love gone wrong…oh how I wish that the hurting memories would leave.
A prick of cold lands on my cheek and I stay absolutely still letting more cold icicles land on me.
Closing my eyes I feel more fall onto me. Soaking my cloths making my body shiver.
Letting out a shivering sigh I open my eyes to see the rain fall onto me.
“Oh rain…how long are you to fall on my broken body,” I wonder to myself.
The rain only falls harder feeling like little needles pricking my skin.
It hurts…stinging my skin and cutting deep. It hurts oh goddess it hurts…
But I just lay there…wishing for the rain to wash away my hurting memories.
Wash my filthy soul, skin and my heart. Get rid of the waste that’s contaminated me.
The rain starts ending as I rise to my feet. I look around noticing the only thing that’s changed was me mentally.
I no longer hurt inside my heart. I felt clean…alive again.
Why was I here again? I look down and I’m wondering why I’m soaked.
Shivering from the cold I walk home leaving behind my erased memories.
