The Wanderer
Rated: E | Poetry | Other | #1885237
A sort of free verse poem based on the Pandora's Box myth. For the Poem a Day Contest.
I am the wanderer.
Released with despair and agony,
I wander the world.

My sisters cause anguish
Among shivering humans
Yet I dance on.

My touch brings harmony,
And undoes my sisters' curses,
And then I leave.

When I am gone,
My sisters come back.
I must bless again.

Forever must I
Bless humankind.
I am their Hope.
