A Hard Working Nation
Rated: E | Poetry | Career | #1888171
The belief I have in a job that wears me out so angrily - a rhyming poem.
Superior drive can be pure consternation,
Earning a living in this hard working nation.
Strategies and gumption land you the job,
Then ever so sickened, and maybe a snob.

With the economy struggling, you’re able to turn,
To any employment and pay you might earn,
But sitting in limbo, with cutbacks in sight,
At their mercy and whim, so unable to fight.

Holding your temper, you never get cross,
At the top of your game with your glorious boss,
A basic connection that you truly hold dear,
Patience and progress, ever so clear.

Filled with such worry, a new time to fret,
Facing the truth with your attitude set,
Be a professional and resume dedication,
Satisfied and true in this hard working nation!
