Winner of round 7 of the Formwork contest...
SWIM FREE

S
wimming, leaping, graceful arcs.
Wild, freedom in his view.
Irreplaceable Tutumairekurai,
Maui's dolphin almost just a dream.

Fight we must, from Cape to Bluff,
Research and rescue and remember.
Everyone must do their part to advocate,
Each dolphin deserves to swim free.

Note: This is a Double Acrostic written for round 7 of the Formwork contest. We had a picture prompt of a dolphin.
Hector's Dolphin (known to the Maori as Tutumairekurai) and its even rarer subspecies Maui's Dolphin are endangered dolphins, endemic to New Zealand.
