| My Mother I miss my mother’s warm embrace. She picked me up when I fell. She encouraged me when life was difficult. She made me smile when I felt sad. She picked me up when I fell, Dusted off the dirt of youth’s adventure, And placed a healing kiss upon my bruise. She encouraged me when life was difficult, Showed me how to tie that lace, And made the sums seem not so hard. She made me smile when I felt sad, Assured me brighter days would come, And reminded me of all I had. WRITTEN FOR:
