Toys for Poor Kids

Lets go buy the poor kids
Toys and building blocks
Then rush home and check
Our dead-bolt security locks

See? I feel better already
Driving my "Cad" to the mall
Buying toys for poor kids
I'll walk so proud and tall

And Grandpa? He doesn't mind
Being in the nursing home
Why, with all the other old folks
Of course he's not alone

Why is everyone so afraid
To open their hearts and share?
To really show a little love
And tell someone they care?

Isn't this the happiest time of year?
Isn't it great to be alive?
There is no suffering in the world
After all, I bought toys for poor kids, didn't I?
