A man invites you to take a walk with him through the night. But is it really just a walk?
Walk with me, child
Let’s walk through the night
Let your hair wave in the wind like a graceful kite
Pay no attention to the demons with the ruby eyes
For they are just angels in disguise
Open your eyes, child
There is nothing to fear
The shadow in the distance is nothing but a deer
We’re almost there; you’re just a bit cold
Don’t listen to the scary stories that have been told
Let’s walk faster, child
Follow my tail
If you keep up, the creatures following us will never prevail!
You look weak in their eyes, you must stay strong
Follow me and nothing will go wrong
Run with me, child
Can you see the light?
It’s the fire that makes people tremble with fright
But they are just afraid of what lies inside
They think this is where demons go after they’ve all died
Go into the fire, child
Don’t act like this is the end
It’s just the start of a new life, full of new friends
Dance in the flames till your skin turns red
Keep walking and see what lies ahead
I must go now, child
I must do what I do best
Putting people like you to the ultimate test
Anything to keep the skills that I have learned
Anything to keep the horns that I have earned
