Star Gazing
Rated: ASR | Poetry | Nature | #192124
10 years ago this same star looked back at me
Star Gazing

Hiding in a silo where all else is
Ex-ter-nal
Your face is radiant in this dim light nocturnal
A dozen pairs of stealthless whispers
Drifting every which direction
East and west, confounding sounding
But still you look my way
Over to this briefest glance we share e-ter-nal
Reminiscent now ten years since
And I know what you wanted to say
As still all I can say is

Saturn is full now - make a wish
